Good Afternoon all I am taking a moment to inform the community of a horrible trend in the automotive industry. On television and on the radio it seems like there is an ad every few minutes for "affordable car repair protection" from companies offering to provide you with a service contract for your vehicle with up to 175,000 miles. They promise to be cheaper than plans from dealerships. What they don't tell you is they WON'T pay your claims and have horrible customer service. One company in particular is US Fidelis. I'm not saying that only dealership purcashed products are worthwhile. What I am saying is like with anything else do your homework and see how many people are happy with the coverage and check and see what the financial ratings of the company are. If they go out of business they don't have to honor your contract. Thanks Columbia!
